Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to memberships, class passes, drop-ins, padel bookings, recovery services, packages, events and other services offered by LUME Wellness Bali ("LUME", "we", "us" or "our"). By purchasing or booking a service, creating an account, or using our facilities, you agree to these terms. Service-specific terms shown during booking or purchase also apply. If they conflict with these general terms, the service-specific terms apply to that booking.

1. Bookings
Classes, padel court time and bookable recovery sessions are subject to availability. Book through LUME's designated booking system or directly with the LUME team where applicable.
You are responsible for managing your own bookings and cancellations. Please check the booking confirmation for the service, date, start time and any service-specific conditions.
LUME may reasonably change schedules, instructors, opening hours or facility availability. If LUME cancels a booking and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, the cancellation and refund terms in section 2 apply.
2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Bookings for classes, padel court time and recovery appointments must be cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. A cancellation made within 12 hours is a late cancellation. Not attending without cancelling is a no-show.
For unlimited membership holders, a late cancellation or no-show may incur a fee of IDR 150,000 per booking. Any applicable fee will be shown or communicated before the booking is confirmed.
For class packs or limited-use memberships, a late cancellation or no-show may result in the booked class being deducted from the member's balance. For prepaid padel or recovery bookings, the booking may be treated as used. No additional late-cancellation or no-show fee will be charged unless its amount was disclosed before booking.
If LUME cancels a class or recovery appointment and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the affected booking will be refunded or restored, as applicable. Padel bookings affected by rain or unsafe court conditions are governed by section 7.
LUME may restrict future bookings after repeated late cancellations or no-shows.
3. Drop-ins, Passes and Refunds
Drop-in purchases and passes are non-refundable once purchased, except where LUME cancels the service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, or where a refund is required by applicable law.
Passes must be used within the validity period shown at purchase. Unused sessions cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or extended unless LUME expressly approves an exception or applicable law requires otherwise.
4. Memberships
Memberships are personal and non-transferable. They may only be used by the person named on the membership account and may not be shared, resold or used to book services for another person.
LUME may reasonably request identification to verify membership ownership. Benefits, inclusions and booking privileges depend on the membership purchased and are those displayed at the time of purchase.
A membership renews automatically only if recurring renewal is clearly stated during purchase. Where recurring billing applies, the renewal price and billing frequency will be shown before purchase. You may cancel future renewals through the designated platform or by contacting LUME before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically refund an already-paid membership period, except where required by applicable law.
5. Membership Freezes
Only memberships identified as eligible at purchase may be frozen. The applicable freeze rules will be shown with the membership details.
An approved freeze must be at least 10 consecutive days and no longer than one month. Requests must be made in advance by email or through the designated membership platform; retrospective requests are not normally accepted.
During an approved freeze, membership access and benefits are suspended. The membership validity period resumes when the freeze ends. LUME may request supporting documentation or consider exceptions for injury, medical necessity or other exceptional circumstances.
6. Membership Payments and Access
Membership fees must be paid according to the payment terms shown at purchase. Unless otherwise stated, memberships and packages are non-refundable once activated, subject to section 3 and any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Not using a membership, being temporarily away from Bali, changing personal circumstances or missing bookings does not by itself entitle a member to a refund.
Where recurring billing applies, you are responsible for keeping payment details valid and up to date. LUME may suspend access while a payment is overdue or unsuccessful, after notifying you where reasonably practicable.
7. Padel Bookings and Packages
Padel court bookings are subject to availability and the cancellation policy in section 2, together with any additional conditions displayed at booking. The weather policy below will be shown before payment.
Padel is played on an open-air court. Rain does not entitle players to a cash refund. Play may continue while court conditions are safe. If LUME suspends or cancels play because of rain, lightning or unsafe court conditions, no cash refund will be provided. LUME may offer a rescheduled booking or court credit at its discretion.
If weather interrupts play after a booking has started, the unused portion is not refundable and the booking time is not automatically extended. LUME may offer a rescheduled time or credit at its discretion.
An eligible Padel Package may be shared by up to four registered people. All users must be named on the package before use. Access is limited to those registered people and cannot be shared with anyone else. LUME may refuse use by an unregistered person.
Court hours included in a package must be used within the stated validity period. Unused hours are non-refundable unless LUME expressly agrees otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise. Late arrival does not extend the booked court time.
8. Recovery Facilities
Access to recovery facilities is subject to availability, opening hours and the access included in your membership or pass. Drop-in access, where offered, does not require pre-booking unless LUME states otherwise.
Follow all instructions and safety guidance given by LUME staff. You are responsible for considering whether sauna, cold exposure, red light or another wellness activity is suitable for you.
If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, have cardiovascular concerns, recently had surgery, or are unsure whether a service is suitable, seek appropriate medical advice before participating. LUME may refuse access where staff reasonably believe use may create a safety risk.
9. Health and Participation
Pilates, yoga, Lagree, fitness classes, padel, recovery activities and other physical activities involve inherent risks. You choose to participate and are responsible for staying within your abilities.
Before participating, tell your instructor or relevant LUME staff about any injury, pregnancy, medical condition or physical limitation that may reasonably affect your participation.
Instructions from LUME coaches and instructors are for general fitness and wellness purposes and are not medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. Stop and tell a staff member if you experience unusual pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms.
10. Studio Conduct
LUME aims to provide a safe, respectful and welcoming environment. Guests and members must treat staff, instructors, other members and LUME property with respect.
Harassment, threatening behaviour, discrimination, intentional property damage, unsafe conduct or behaviour that significantly disrupts others is not permitted. LUME may refuse entry, remove a person from the premises, or suspend or terminate access in cases of serious or repeated misconduct.
11. Personal Belongings
You are responsible for your personal belongings while on LUME premises. To the extent permitted by applicable law, LUME is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to belongings left unattended.
Found property may be held for a reasonable period before being donated or disposed of.
12. Facility and Schedule Changes
LUME may change opening hours, schedules, instructors, classes, facilities or services because of operational requirements, maintenance, private events, public holidays, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
A change of instructor or reasonable schedule adjustment does not by itself entitle a member to a refund. Where possible, LUME will give reasonable notice of significant changes. If a booked service is cancelled by LUME, section 2 applies.
13. Events, Workshops and Retreats
Events, workshops, retreats and special experiences may have separate booking, cancellation, payment and refund conditions. Specific conditions provided at booking apply alongside these general terms and take precedence where they conflict.
14. Photography and Video
LUME may occasionally arrange photography or video at the club for marketing or promotional use. We will notify guests when organised content production is taking place where reasonably practicable.
We will seek your permission before using an identifiable image or video of you for promotional purposes. You can tell the LUME team if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, and we will take reasonable steps to keep you out of organised promotional content.
Commercial photography or filming by guests or third parties on LUME premises requires prior permission.
15. Café, Retail and Third-Party Services
Products purchased from the LUME café, retail area or sportswear collection may be subject to separate purchase, exchange or return conditions, which will be provided at the point of sale.
Independent third-party providers may have their own terms for services, products or experiences they provide.
16. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indonesian law, LUME is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from risks inherent in exercise, sport or wellness activities where reasonable care has been taken.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law. Guests and members remain responsible for following safety instructions, using equipment appropriately and participating in line with their physical condition and abilities.
17. Privacy
LUME uses personal information needed to manage accounts, bookings, payments and the provision of services. Information may be processed through third-party booking, payment and communication platforms where necessary to provide those services.
LUME does not sell members' personal information. For questions about personal information or to request access, correction or deletion where available under applicable law, contact Hello@lumewellnessbali.com. A separate privacy notice may provide further details.
18. Changes to These Terms
LUME may update these terms to reflect changes to services, memberships, facilities, operating procedures or applicable requirements. The latest version will be made available on the LUME website and will state its effective date.
Where permitted by applicable law, continued use of LUME services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes will not retroactively alter a completed purchase unless required by law.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes relating to these terms or the use of LUME services will be handled in accordance with applicable Indonesian law.
